About Majid Husain:
Dr. Majid Husain is an Indian author and professor of Geography. He has authored books like Human Geography, Indian and World Geography, Systematic Agricultural Geography, 1000 Plus Questions on Indian and World Geography, and Fundamentals of Physical Geography. Born in Roorkee, Dr. Husain has over forty years of teaching experience, and was the erstwhile President of the Indian National Cartographic Association. He has taught at prestigious universities in New Delhi, Srinagar and Shillong, such as Jamia Milia Islamia and the University of Kashmir. With over 43 years of research experience, he won the Delhi Government Award in 1997 for Best Geography Teacher. Dr. Husain was also awarded the Bhugol Bhushan Award by the Deccan Geographical Society India in 2008.
