The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) prescribes syllabus and conducts exams for various postings in public sector banks in India. These posts include clerical and management grades.

Many banks accept the scores in the Common Written Exam (CWE) conducted by the IBPS. Other banks may conduct their own exams, but most follow the syllabus and structure defined by the IBPS for the exams.
